Jordan's orthodontist's office is pretty kool !

Their staff is super great and their logo is ingenious !

They have a video room with 3 flat screens and a Playstation 3 for each station -- way kool !

But the best part is that they have ..... braces !!! LOL Take care of 'em, Boo !

The B.E.S.T. Competition -- And The Winner Is ????

OK, this is what your looking for.... in this match we are in the yellow quadrant.  As the tape rolls, you can see that our robot pulled down a fly ( red ball ) and was able to place it in the 'container'.  We scored !  We won First place !  We're going to Regionals at Auburn !CARVER !!!!

The Excitement BUILDS

Once inside the arena, I felt like I was at a SuperBowl, or NBA game or Rodeo -- LOL

I mean, these kids were PUMPED !

 And, well, the parents were too ;-)

CARVERS B.E.S.T. Booth

Ok, considering I'm a parent of a CARVER student .... I may be a little biased as to which booth I thought was the best !!!

But, really, CARVER's was great !!  They had pictures on the walls hi-lighting the process of creating their robot...

answered the judges questions about the process, materials, marketing, specs, and design of their robot...

included the B.E.S.T national org missions and purpose via power point display...

and handed out free give aways to passerbys ....

including "fan" posters to use during the matches !!! 

Awesome !!

B.E.S.T Booth Competition

Not only do the teams compete with their robots, they also gets points for their booths !  Each team had to complete a booth that depicted their robot and mission.....

Each school did a great job.  I know first hand all the hard work and committment each kid / parent put into this !! Great job !

Wiregrass B.E.S.T. Competition Day !!!

 Today is the day !! The day where all the Wiregrass B.E.S.T teams compete in the robotics match to see who goes to state competition!! The parking lot was FULL !

As soon as we walked in, Jordan was whisked away and helped into her "uniform"!

LOL -- too cute !!!  She was ready for her Robotics Booth display....

Church Community Fall Fest

 Each year, our church hosts a community Fall Fest...

 complete with balloons....

 face painting....

and games where you can win chocolate.  This is the one that I helped with ... it was Divine !

 Jordan waited on tables and took food orders ...

 She was a natural !

 What poise and grace !! LOL !  Of course, now she's looking through the classifieds to see if anyone is hiring for waitresses ! 



Bumble Boo !

 Ok, this Bumble Bee outfit wasn't Jordan's first choice....

 Jordan thought it would be absolutely funny to go as a pregnant teen with balloons for boobs and tummy.....

I'd like to say that I was calm, cool, and collected.  I'd like to say that I rolled with the punches and used great parental skill in helping her to see the light. BUT ! alas, the conversation was more like "Over my dead body" / "Because I'm the MOM, that's why" ..... O well, she listened to reason and went as a Bumble Boo :-) and a very cute one, I might add !

B.E.S.T. Robotics Reveal at Wiregrass Mall

One week until competition -- the pressure is on !  Each team got to bring their robot out to the reveal.  They displayed their robots and got a chance to try it out on the court so to speak ! There was a lot of excitement in the air as well as friendly competition !  Go CARVER !!

I'd like to give a shout-out to my cousin, Monica and her honey Randy!  They just had a new addition to their family, Mason Kyle who weighed in at a whopping 61bs 15 oz ! Momma and baby are doing fine and Randy hasn't stopped smiling !! :-)

Headland Welcomes PrimeCare

We open our third clinic on the 31st in Headland.  We're excited ! 

Loooonnnnggggg Walks

Since the weather change, we've been getting out and walking a lot more.  We love it !  There's a beautiful neighborhood right behind us and we walk, and talk, and walk, and walk.  Love it !!
