Alright, here's the deal.... we've lived in FL for 2 years and never been to Disney. So, one month before we move to AL, Tshombe wanted to surprise Jordan (who has NEVER been). We told her we were going to see his Uncle in Orlando. Jordan fell asleep in the car and woke up while we were in line to park at the Magic Kingdom.
When she woke up , she saw some Disney buses in the parking lot and said, " Hey, look, there are some buses going to Disney World ....... hey, look over there--- there's another one...........wait.....wait.... where are we?"
Here's the picture of her after telling her we were at Disney World. LOL !
And the first sights we see are of the beautiful castle, candy, goodies, and balloons !
And looky here... a little glass castle worth TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS !! Good Grief !
Our first ride... The Astro Orbit. It was ON TOP of a tall building. You could see over the entire park. I got a little qeasy.
Our second ride, Space MTN... the entire ride is inside the building. Jordan was nervous. The anticipation was getting to her but once she was on it, she had a ball !
While walking through the park, we got see topiaries shaped into various animals.
Had to stop and get a picture of the castle .... and us infront of the castle !
Took time out to watch a parade ! There were men on stilts, jugglers, floats with various Disney characters singing and dancing and interacting with the crowd !
Splash Mountain was way too much fun ! Loved the story of Brer Rabbit !
This was by far the longest wait for a ride. We waited 1.5 hours. Jordan said that if it wasn't worth the wait, she was going to complain to management. Three seconds into the ride she started screaming, "It was worth the wait, It was worth it !!"
We rode the Ferry Boat and Tshombe tried to pull the sword from the stone.
Of course Disney doesn't do anything half way so even the landscape and fence toppers were "perfect".
Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse and scenic photo of the side of the castle.
OOOOHHHH AAAAHHHHHH... the night time parade was just fabulous !
The castle would change colors at night. It was beautiful.
The fireworks were spectacular !
Tshombe got a daughter who was thrilled beyond words..... Jordan got a day she'll never forget... Oreo got her very own "mouse ear" squeak toy.... and what did I get ????....
I spent 12 hours at Disney World and all I got was this lousy blister !!!! HA HA !!!!
