Halloween In Headland

The City of Headland hosted a Fall Festival the day before Halloween.  A few of us at work decided to set up a table and hand out goodies...

Of course, I love the kids !!!

One of Jordan's close friends, Yaewon, wants to study visual special effects in college.  As you can see, she already experiments.  Here she used toilet paper and glue with fake blood.

How awesome is that!!  It is totally gross and the way she added the grayish black lines to form teeth looks so real.  I think she has some real talent !! Go Yaewon!!

The Corn Maze

Yep, Jordan and I walked through a corn maze.

I must say that at first it was fun.

Until I ran into a dead end.

And everywhere I turned looked the same.

I got a little panicky.  But after 20 minutes, we made it out -- whew !!

Alpin Farms

We have a local farm that sells produce all year round.

But it's Fall when they really get into the groove.

Along with produce, train rides, petting zoo, and corn mazes,  

they paint and decorate all of

their hay bails. Too Cute !

Happy Birthday, NOT!

We love our local Mexican Restaurant.  It's the BOMB !!  Great food, Great Service, Great Prices...

but the best thing about it is the HUGE sombrero they put on your head if it's your birthday.  So, I told our server it was dad's birthday -- LOL LOL

Botanical Gardens

Each year our local Botanical Gardens features various Scarecrows.

Now keep in mind that my dad has never used a cell phone. (never)

So, when he pulled out his new iPhone 5, we were all a little surprised !

But not surprised that he asked Jordan how to use it - LOL

All Grown Up ! .... sort of

Pee Paw and Miss Elly drove down from TN for a visit.  Dad couldn't get over how much Jordan had grown.  .... I know, right ??!!!
