 Ok, this Bumble Bee outfit wasn't Jordan's first choice....

 Jordan thought it would be absolutely funny to go as a pregnant teen with balloons for boobs and tummy.....

I'd like to say that I was calm, cool, and collected.  I'd like to say that I rolled with the punches and used great parental skill in helping her to see the light. BUT ! alas, the conversation was more like "Over my dead body" / "Because I'm the MOM, that's why" ..... O well, she listened to reason and went as a Bumble Boo :-) and a very cute one, I might add !

B.E.S.T. Robotics Reveal at Wiregrass Mall

One week until competition -- the pressure is on !  Each team got to bring their robot out to the reveal.  They displayed their robots and got a chance to try it out on the court so to speak ! There was a lot of excitement in the air as well as friendly competition !  Go CARVER !!

I'd like to give a shout-out to my cousin, Monica and her honey Randy!  They just had a new addition to their family, Mason Kyle who weighed in at a whopping 61bs 15 oz ! Momma and baby are doing fine and Randy hasn't stopped smiling !! :-)

Headland Welcomes PrimeCare

We open our third clinic on the 31st in Headland.  We're excited ! 

Loooonnnnggggg Walks

Since the weather change, we've been getting out and walking a lot more.  We love it !  There's a beautiful neighborhood right behind us and we walk, and talk, and walk, and walk.  Love it !!

Ahhhh, Fall is here !  I love Autumn with it's cooler, crisp weather!  Oreo loves sitting in the sun!

So, one day minding my own business, my good friend, Angela, emailed me to say how much she loved the Fall season, and all the fun and goodies it brings....

and since Fall is my favorite time of year, I told her that I had already decorated the house with Fall colors and items and was going pinecone hunting with Oreo this weekend .....

she then sent me an email of these owl cupckes --- O! MY! GAWSH!

I HAD to try these out !

And it just so happened that the next day we were having a potluck at work ....

so I made alot !

Carver Magnet BEST Robotics

This year CARVER MAGNET SCHOOL will compete against 16 schools in 8 surrounding counties for the BEST Robotics championship !  Jordan signed up for the challenge ! 

 

B.E.S.T. challenges students from eighth through twelfth grade to come design and build a robot that will perform a specific challenge and hopefully spark an interest in engineering and technology.

 

This year’s theme is “Bugs” - a group of genetically engineered creepy critters have escaped from a lab and each team will need to build a robot to collect them before they escape.

The robots will have to be able to maneuver through a course filled with obstacles to collect termites (bags filled with pinto beans), flies (suspended styrofoam balls) and cockroaches (small battery operated toys that will be constantly moving).

Although billing is my first priority at work, I am also a certified collector.

Each year Wallace College asks us to perform Pre-Participation drug screens on all their nursing department enrollees.

This year Candace, Denise, and I went out to do the collections.

Yes, urine collections --LOL

I checked them in as well.

All totaled we collected 902 specimens .... or liquid gold -- LOL LOL
