Church Camp

Well, let me be the first to say -- CHURCH CAMP AIN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE ! 

Apparantly these days, the kids get to be themselves !  Have fun !

Pray for each other and the week ahead !

Get to know new friends from other churches !

And then compete against them !

Jordan and her friends and faculty had a great time getting to know God, themselves, and each other in a deeper way ! Thank you Lord, for food, fun, and friends !

I was looking through some old pictures and found these of Oreo.  No wonder we paid too much money for her and brought her home with us ..... just take a look at that face !

O! MY! GAAWWSSH! Look how little ! I think she weighed only 4 pounds.  I remember I could hold her in one hand.

 Baby Oreo .... What a sweetie ! Makes you want to pick her up and never put her down.... which, by the way, these pictures are of the rare times when we did put her down -- LOL

Celebrating July 4th 2011 with Lieutenant Dan

We live only 15 minutes away from Fort Rucker Airforce Base.

Because I'm a 'civilian', I have to go through security where they check my license and tags.

For the 4th of July, they had a huge festival that included showing off their planes and helicopters.

They were fasinating !!

One of the "Privates"?.... "Colonels"?....."Lieutenants"??.... we'll one of the military guys let Jordan try on a helicopter helmet.... cute!

We enjoyed the helicopters, planes, food, and fun ... BUT the real reason we were here was to see Gary Sinese and the LT Dan Band !!!

A Beautiful Day Off !

I had a wonderful surprise at work !  The assistant manager came to me and said I still had 3 days off before my year ends. I was like "are you sure?" and she said "yes" and I didn't say anymore.... I took a day off from work !!!!

Even my feet were happy ..... I had happy feet !

Just because I had a day off from work, doesn't mean I have a day off from parenting :-)

Boo and I enjoyed some special time - pool side !
