Jordan attended the ROTC Military Ball. 

 Everyone is growing up way too fast for my brain to comprehend.

It's as if I don't even recognize these kids,

 er adults, er teens anymore.

Although there are time when I recognize myself. LOL !

 The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. 'Tis true.

T Shirt Contest - Final Product

A few months back PrimeCare held a T Shirt contest where the employees could design a shirt that represents who we are.  My design won and I won a $25.00 gift certificate.

So here it is ! Ta Da !  It reads, " Better Doctors + Better Staff = Better Care"

69th Annual Peanut Festival Parade

Keep in mind that Dothan is the peanut capitol of the world !! So, we celebrate with a huge festival and parade each year.

filled with ... can you guess?... PEANUTS

 

drives by and unloads them onto the street -- and the kids make a mad dash to gather up as many as they can -- lol lol

9th Grade Honors Geometry

 

One morning I woke up to this ... thing... on the kitchen table. I had no idea what it was but thought it was very pretty and well made.  Jordan told me it was homework for geometry .. it's a tetrahedron. ( wha ??) What really kills me is that this isn't a project..it's just plain old homework. ( good grief !!)

Halloween In Headland

The City of Headland hosted a Fall Festival the day before Halloween.  A few of us at work decided to set up a table and hand out goodies...

Of course, I love the kids !!!

The Language of Bostons

One of Jordan's close friends, Yaewon, wants to study visual special effects in college.  As you can see, she already experiments.  Here she used toilet paper and glue with fake blood.

How awesome is that!!  It is totally gross and the way she added the grayish black lines to form teeth looks so real.  I think she has some real talent !! Go Yaewon!!

The Corn Maze

Yep, Jordan and I walked through a corn maze.

I must say that at first it was fun.

Until I ran into a dead end.

And everywhere I turned looked the same.

I got a little panicky.  But after 20 minutes, we made it out -- whew !!

Alpin Farms

We have a local farm that sells produce all year round.

But it's Fall when they really get into the groove.

Along with produce, train rides, petting zoo, and corn mazes,  

they paint and decorate all of

their hay bails. Too Cute !
