Dinner at Mikata's

Tshombe's cosmetic department made the highest sales and met all of their goals for the past few months. So, they got to go to the restaurant of their choice. He invited me to go, too. It was fun.

"Danny" our chef ! He was tooooooooo funny !! He'd drop butter and say it was a "butter fly"; he threw eggs into his hat; did some crazy things with some big knives and kept us all laughing !

....hmmmm did someone order a steak well-done ??

Strike !!

A good friend of mine emailed me a website for free bowling during the summer. So, I took Jordan and her friend and we 3 played three games for the cost of the shoe rental ($6.00) Not bad !!!

Surprise ! Surprise ! The doctor said Jordan's arm looks great ! So, he took her cast off and told her not to do any handstands or go roller skating for two weeks -- no problem ! The first thing she did when we got home was jump off the diving board into the pool !

Labels, Labels Everywhere !!

So, finally everything is out of the boxes. HOWEVER, everthing has a label. A packing label that the packing people put on EVERYTHING. So much for saving paper and the rain forrest -- ha

Getting Creative !

As you know, Jordan broke her arm before we moved to AL. She saw an orthopod in AL 2 weeks ago, where we were hoping he'd give her a new cast. (This one smells sooooooo bad -- she's had it on since May 19th !!!) Anyway, he didn't give her a new cast but said in 2 weeks he'd give her a velcro cast that she could take off to go swimming. Meanwhile, we've created a way for her to at least get wet in the pool.... DUCT TAPE !!! Ya, know it's true... duct tape pretty much fixes everything !!

Playing Speed

Jordan & I love to play the card game Speed. During this particular game at one point we had the same cards and the two top cards were the same as well. Jordan just thought this was the coolest thing ever -- what were the odds !?!?! So, she wanted me to post this on the blog -- ha ha She went on to beat me .... again !!!

Will It Ever End ??

Like I said before, our moving crew was very cautious. They took apart, wrapped, & boxed EVERYTHING !!! Leaving us with 412 boxes to open, take out contents, unwrap contents, put together contents, put wrapping paper back into box and haul to driveway....

Guess that's what we'll be doing this summer -- LOL !!

Moving Day !!!

Here's our truck !!!



Boxes, Boxes, everywhere !!!! It took 10 hours to pack up everything and 8 hours to load it onto the truck!



Wrapping our couch...... and when it was all over with, there were 412 boxes !!! .... not including furniture that was wrapped and taken apart.... whew, I'm tired just thinking about it !!

OK this is ridiculous !!! Here is the wrapping paper from one box. I actually found 2 marbles wrapped....... TWO MARBLES !! What in the world ????? And then when we unpack the 412 boxes and unwrap the contents, we get to fill the box back up with the paper and haul it to the curb !! Sounds like fun, huh??

Ripley's Believe It or Not !

We spent an afternoon in St. Augustine and went to Ripley's Believe It or Not ! It was funny and weird and just plain fun !
