Something about babies.....
Here's my cousin/sister, Monica and her husband, Randy.
This is Mason Kyle, their newborn son.
There's something about babies that won't let you put them down...
for some reason, no one was able to put Mason down for long
everywhere I looked
someone was holding, feeding, rocking or
just plain looking at him.
But that's how babies are
there's just something about them .
My other Uncle Johnny with his grandson. See ... there's just something about babies :-)
Cookeville
We made it !
We had to see mom's old house -- hasn't changed too much !
And, of course, we had to see our old place ...
hasn't changed at all --lol !
We went to see Jerry Whitson park - where my mom took me to play
and where I took Jordan when she was a toddler.
Saw the Depot Museum ...
and the mural in memory of 911. Cookeville hasn't changed a bit.... it was somewhat odd yet comforting.
Centerhill Lake
I decided to go through Smithville instead of Sparta to get to Cookeville. I wanted to see the lake. And quite frankly, I'm glad I stopped because apparantly Oreo had to do her business !! ... just sayin ... and the pictures turned out cute :-)
Uncle Johnny and Aunt Amy
Dad took us out to Uncle Johnny's -- Dad's oldest brother.
Uncle Johnny and Aunt Amy. They've been married 42 years. Wow!
We had a great time visiting them. Amy showed Jordan pictures of her great, great, great Grandmother and Grandfather. I learned that I have family in Mexico - The Schofners. They weren't able to make a living in TN so they moved to Mexico and got into the banking business. Interesting.
Jordan's First Motorcycle Ride
It was a beautiful Fall day in TN when Dad surprised Jordan with a motorcycle ride. Note how tall she has gotten. Her head was too big to fit inside Miss Elly's helmet so she had to wear one of Dad's --LOL !

Finally Jordan is on the bike !!
About this time, Jordan said to Dad "This is like a mo-ped"......
And here Dad said, "I'll show you mo-ped" .... I think I heard her scream !! LOL
Pee Paw & Miss Elly
Boo, Oreo and I went to TN to visit family. The last time I set foot in TN was .... 5 or 6 years ago. GEESH! We had a great time with Dad and Elaine. Oreo had a great time with Olivia and all the cats !
A True Teen ...
Jordan is a true teenager. Look closely, she's talking to me while texting her dad in one hand AND has her bff on speaker phone in the other -- LOL !
Oh, and the outfit ... look at the outfit ! Yep, she's a true teen !
