Auburn University

Jordan is participating in the Southeast Alabama Education Talent Search. It is a Government funded program that trains students to start thinking about College. This program begins with 6th grade and ends at 12th grade graduation. They take the kids on day trips to various universities; the kids get "first dibs" on summer camps (Jordan will go to 3 - one week camps this summer that are hosted by NASA); and they help the parents with the financial aspect of going to college such as where to find the best grants, scholarships, etc.

This past Friday, Jordan and the other kids went to visit the campus of Auburn University. So, we met the bus at 5:30 am Friday morning ! (Geesh! -- she's a go-getter !!)

Auburn University has developed into one of the largest universities in the South, remaining in the educational forefront with its blend of arts and applied science.
And as expected, Jordan now wants to go to Auburn --- we'll see !
