So, as I try to find pictures of the Universal Band trip ( mostly from Jordan's friends on FaceBook ) .. I see that times have changed.   You mean to tell me that the buses have tv's now ??  Geesh !

Although some things don't change -- like taking your favorite stuffed animal :-)

This year the band went to the Universal Studios in Orlando for a time of competition and fun !

How much does one need to take on a three day get away ??

Hi, girls !!  Hope you have a great time !!

We had to be at school by 5:30 am.  The buses were already there.  Be safe! Have fun !

This certainly brings back alot of fun memories from when I was in the school band -- seems like only yesterday- well, sort of ;-)

Spoiled.  Just plain old spoiled.

We love Easter!  For the obvious reason ... Jesus Christ defeated death and made it possible to have a daily relationship with the Father for all those who believe in Him.

We're not the *traditional* kind of family with baskets filled with candy and chocolates only.  Oh, No beef jerkey is also a rare delicacy!

Tri-State BBQ Festival!!!!

Each year, our city holds a TRI-State BBQ Contest.. yes, 3 states compete - AL, GA, FL.  You pay $5.00 to get in and taste all the bbq (for free) and then vote for your favorite !!

This year, our friend and her parents came to visit.

These were my favorite.... nachos covered with bbq, sauce, cheese, and jalepenos- free! YES!
