Jenn's Wedding Shower

This is Jennifer.  She and I work in the billing dpt.  We hit it off immediately.  She's been a great friend. 

Jenn's getting married !!! She said she found someone her heart loves ... awwwwww!

Hey, Nana!  This is Gerri, she's our payroll/ accounts payable person at work. She's alot of fun too !  We call her Mama Gerri.  She gives good advice :-)

Like the dress??  I *love* it.  Now guess where I found it?  No, really guess.... Nope that's not it !  You'll never guess in a million years so I'll just tell you .... the rescue mission.  Isn't that crazy !!  $3.00.  I guess it's true that one man's trash is another man's treasure - LOL !

First Day of 8th Grade

First day of 8th grade.

Not at all sure how I feel about this but Jordan loves it.

Jordi's bestie is staying with us for two weeks while her parents are out of town.  With two teen girls in the house, it's been LOUD and MESSY and a lot of FUN ! I've even learned a few things.  For instance "bobo" means fake ... "Those are bobo Converse or that girl is soooooo bobo." And I've learned that a "minute" is actually longer than 60 seconds.  "Jordan come take out the trash."  ... " In a minute mom." I'll remember this when she wants a car... "In a minute Jordan ;-)"

We're Growing

This is where I work.  PrimeCare in Dothan.  I work upstairs in the billing dpt. It's fun and never boring.  I like my job which is great because so many people can't say that.

We also have another clinc in Daleville.  I do all their billing too.

We've recently built a new clinc in Headland that should open this October.  We've just put in a call center in the Dothan clinic where all calls from all clinics will be filtered.  Simply put - we're growing.  It's excited !

First, I'd like to say .... I. CANNOT. BELIEVE. I. AM. A. PARENT. OF. A. FOURTEEN. YEAR. OLD....... I'm still processing this.  This may take time.

Anyway, you know how I am... I decorate for every event. It's a sickness -- LOL

I was gonna pass it off like I made this ... but my conscience got the better of me ... where do you think I got this cake? Bed Bath and Beyond? My Cousin who lives in TN? or WalMart ?

Time for Pizza !  See Nana over there ... since the girls spent the night, our plan was that I'd take the day shift and mom would take the night shift -- she stays up all night anyway, so she'd check on them throughout the night ... cause *there won't be any sneaking out in my house* LOL LOL .... just sayin...

AND of course, OREO was in all the action .... gee maybe we should get her a chair for the table ??

Jordi's dad wrote her a poem based on her name --sweet !

which earned him a huge hug and kiss!

Church Camp

Well, let me be the first to say -- CHURCH CAMP AIN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE ! 

Apparantly these days, the kids get to be themselves !  Have fun !

Pray for each other and the week ahead !

Get to know new friends from other churches !

And then compete against them !

Jordan and her friends and faculty had a great time getting to know God, themselves, and each other in a deeper way ! Thank you Lord, for food, fun, and friends !

I was looking through some old pictures and found these of Oreo.  No wonder we paid too much money for her and brought her home with us ..... just take a look at that face !

O! MY! GAAWWSSH! Look how little ! I think she weighed only 4 pounds.  I remember I could hold her in one hand.

 Baby Oreo .... What a sweetie ! Makes you want to pick her up and never put her down.... which, by the way, these pictures are of the rare times when we did put her down -- LOL

Celebrating July 4th 2011 with Lieutenant Dan

We live only 15 minutes away from Fort Rucker Airforce Base.

Because I'm a 'civilian', I have to go through security where they check my license and tags.

For the 4th of July, they had a huge festival that included showing off their planes and helicopters.

They were fasinating !!

One of the "Privates"?.... "Colonels"?....."Lieutenants"??.... we'll one of the military guys let Jordan try on a helicopter helmet.... cute!

We enjoyed the helicopters, planes, food, and fun ... BUT the real reason we were here was to see Gary Sinese and the LT Dan Band !!!
